Lawrenceburg Man Arrested In Kentucky

Kentucky State Police troopers say they received a call about a speeding pickup truck Monday that was driving recklessly on I-165, just south of Owensboro.

A trooper says they saw the speeding blue Dodge truck and tried to pull them over.

According to police, the driver continued and would not stop for the trooper. The chase exited off I-65 onto the US 60 bypass and then towards KY-54 east.

Police say the driver of the truck, later identified as George M. Scott, 48 of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee led authorities onto KY-54.

Kentucky State Police say they were final able to get Scott to stop.

George M. Scott was arrested and taken to Daviess County Detention Center with charges of, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Fleeing/Evading 1st Degree in a Motor Vehicle, Speeding, Reckless Driving, and Operating a vehicle under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol.
