Tax Free Holiday Coming-Up This Weekend (7/26 – 7/28)

The annual sales tax holiday in Tennessee will be this coming weekend, Friday July 26th through Sunday July 28th.

Shoppers can save almost 10 percent on qualifying clothing, school supplies, and computers.

During the sales tax holiday, clothing and school supplies will be tax exempt if priced $100.00 or less, with computers being tax exempt if priced $1,500.00 or less.

Both online and in store purchases of qualifying items can be made tax free.

Governor Bill Lee thanked the General Assembly for providing this once a year period of sales tax relief.
