Hugh Robert Griffin

Hugh Robert Griffin of Prospect died Saturday, July 20th, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Prospect, and was 81 years old. He was a Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church in Pulaski, a life-long resident of Prospect and retired after 34 years at Monsanto.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

Services will be at 1:00pm Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024 in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Gomillion and Bro. Jerry Yant officiating.

Burial will be in the Prospect Cemetery in Prospect, Tennessee.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Hogan Griffin of Prospect, Sisters, Barbara and husband Dewayne Allfrey of Athens, Judy Griffin of Huntsville, Mavis and husband Douglas Stonecipher of Huntsville, Brother, Phillip and wife Elizabeth Griffin of Athens, Several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and friends also survive.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Caris Hospice, the Prospect Cemetery, or the Wrap Closet at First Baptist Church.
