Senator Walley Announces Broadband Grants

Senator Page Walley has announced the award of 24 major grants from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development to expand broadband to unserved communities located in Chester, Fayette, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Lawrence, McNairy and Wayne Counties.  The grants are aimed at promoting broadband opportunities and high-paying digital jobs.   Grant recipients will invest matching funds and must have projects completed by December 31, 2026.
