Gandy Property Lost During Late Wednesday Fire

An overnight fire left destroyed a Gandy property. Members of multiple Lawrence County Fire Departments, including the Lawrenceburg Fire Department, were called to a Long Branch Road residence just before midnight Wednesday night.  Fire crews found a shop building engulfed in flames on arrival.  Around the same time, firefighters were dispatched to a reported field fire just a few hundred yards from the scene of the first fire. The field fire had reportedly spread from hay bales to nearby woods. Firefighters spent several hours working at both scenes.  The cause of the fires remain under investigation.
