OFFICERS WITH THE LAWRENCEBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT WERE DISPATCHED TO A DUMPSTER FIRE MONDAY AT CANTER CHASE APARTMENTS ON CLEARVIEW AVENUE. THE FIRE WAS NEAR THE 700 BUILDING AND UPON ARRIVAL OFFICERS OBSERVED A MATTRESS LAYING NEAR A DUMPSTER ON FIRE WHICH CAUSED A FENCE TO CATCH FIRE CAUSING DAMAGE. THE LAWRENCEBURG FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED AND EXTINGUISHED THE BLAZE.
ALSO ON MONDAY, OFFICERS WERE CALLED TO SPEAK TO A COMPLAINANT ON CROWSON ROAD IN REFERENCE TO VANDALISM IN WHICH THE REAR GLASS OF THE COMPLANANTS VEHICLE HAD BEEN BUSTED OUT AND A DENT WAS LOCATED ON THE HATCH DOOR. A LARGE ROCK WAS FOUND NEAR THE VEHICLE. ANYONE WITH INFORMATION IS ENCOURAGED TO CONTACT THE LAWRENCEBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT.
