THE FORD MOTOR COMPANY HAS ISSUED TWO SAFETY RECALLS AFFECTING MORE THAN 200 THOUSAND VEHICLES IN NORTH AMERICA. ACCORDING TO A PRESS RELEASE THE RECALL STEMS FROM PROBLEMS WITH FRONT POWER SEATS EXPERIENCING LOOSENESS IN THE 2016 FORD F-150 AND FORD EXPLORERS. THOSE AFFECTED WERE BUILT IN THE DEARBORN, KANSAS CITY AND CHICAGO ASSEMBLY PLANTS. FORD ADVISED THEY ARE NOT AWARE OF ANY ACCIDENTS OR INJURIES CAUSED BY THE PROBLEMS.
