A COLBERT COUNTY SCHOOL BUS WAS HIT TUESDAY MORNING.  ACCORDING TO THE TIMES DAILY, EMERGENCY PERSONNEL RESPONDED TO THE SCENE JUST AFTER 7 ON US 43 JUST SOUTH OF LITTLEVILLE AT THE COLBERT FRANKLIN COUNTY LINE. THE BUS, WHICH HAD APPROXIMATELY 17 STUDENTS, WAS HIT BY A TRUCK WHILE THE BUS WAS STOPPED TO LOAD STUDENTS.  ONE STUDENT WAS GETTING ON THE BUS AT THE TIME.  THREE STUDENTS WERE TREATED FOR MINOR INJURIES.  THE ACCIDENT REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION BY ALABAMA STATE TROOPERS.
