THE U S DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION'S NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE  BACK DAY IS SET FOR SATURDAY OCTOBER 28TH.  AS PART OF THIS MAJOR HEALTH AND SAFETY INITIATIVE, THE LAWRENCE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT ALONG WITH THE LAWRENCE COUNTY SUBSTANCE ABUSE COALITION WILL HOST A TAKE BACK EVENT IN LAWRENCE COUNTY WITH THREE DROP OFF LOCATIONS.  COMMUNITY MEMBER ARE ENCOURAGED TO STOP BY ONE OF THESE LOCAL TAKE BACK LOCATIONS TO DROP OFF THEIR UNUSED OR EXPIRED MEDICATIONS, ESPECIALLY PAIN RELIEVERS AND OTHER PRESCRIPTION DRUGS.  PHARMACISTS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS WILL BE ON HAND.  LOCATIONS INCLUDE WALGREENS ON EAST GAINES IN LAWRENCEBURG, FRED'S PHARMACY ON NORTH MILITARY IN LORETTO AND ETHRIDGE POLICE DEPARTMENT ON DEPOT STREET IN ETHRIDGE.
